Spring Update
Over 300 caps have now been made! Thanks to all for your ongoing support!
More recent customers will be aware that over the past few months I have been trialling making these caps free to cancer patients. This is regretably no longer viable and I will have to return to charging for materials and packaging in the future. My labour costs will always be nil.
Big thanks to Christine Bishop and staff at Amcal Pharmacy, Waipukurau for their continued support of cancer patients and this venture.

The original, locally inspired, designed and produced CHEMO CAP.
Anne started making great looking caps for a friend during chemotherapy as she experienced hair loss.
Since then more and more people have wanted these well designed caps, so Anne has started creating and marketing them to help a wider group of people who, despite their illness, deserve to look and feel good.
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing number of people asking for hats, and the cost of materials, threads, packaging etc., I am now forced to charge a fee to cover these on-going costs. This is a non-profit enterprise for me and I will continue with this venture for as long as I am able.
Although there are large variances in fabric costs, to keep pricing standard, any proceeds received are donated to Cancer support organisations in New Zealand.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people are hooked up in the ‘CANCER WORLD’ yet are so positive and so accepting of their lot. It is always such a pleasure to meet them and provide something they consider special.
Produced in a range of plain and patterned designer and comfortable quality fabrics with plenty of stretch, OSFM (one size fits most).
The caps have also been discovered by Shave for a Cure participants.
